The S&P 500 rose slightly to start the week as it made another run at its Feb. 19 all-time high. The index’s gains were driven in part by advances in Amazon, Alphabet and Microsoft as well as homebuilder stocks, which traded at record levels. Meanwhile, Warren Buffett revealed a bet in miner Barrick Gold, which sent the stock soaring.
