In a press release, Alrosa explained that the service allows clients to examine diamonds in real-time with the guidance of gem experts.
The recent update to the solution was carried out by Alrosa’s United Selling Organization. Now, the platform allows buyers to examine rough diamonds from all angles, compare pieces and exchange data on each of them.
“Alrosa video-viewer provides our clients with the highest quality service complying with all information security criteria,” Evgeny Agureev, the miner’s deputy CEO, said in a media statement. “In our recent months’ practice, during persisting counter-pandemic restrictions, this tool has allowed our customers to successfully study and choose the rough they need, regardless of their physical location.”
