Chip maker Nvidia is set to return to its videogame roots when it reports earnings on Wednesday, as its graphics card sales are expected to power fiscal third-quarter sales.
In September, Nvida (ticker: NVDA) revealed its new line on Ampere-based videogame graphic processing units, releasing new cards, with a performance that towers above the prior generation. Sales for the least powerful but most affordable of the three new cards it announced began selling in September.
