This week on Down to Business, Laura Macdonald, professor of political science at Carleton University, explained what U.S. instability means for Canada, and for the North American regional economy.
The inauguration of Joe Biden as the new President of the United States, only turns the page so much, Macdonald told me.
She explained Biden will inherit a country with pre-existing conditions, including political dysfunction and partisan gridlock, that will likely make multilateral cooperation more difficult.
