Toronto-based gaming technology provider Bragg Gaming Group has made the third addition to its board of directors in a little under six months, announcing the appointment of gaming industry veteran Lara Falzon last week.
Bragg CEO Adam Arviv touted Falzon’s experience — she is currently the operational CFO of NetEnt Star and also CFO of casino software provider Red Tiger Gaming — in a release announcing her appointment.
“Her financial experience in the gaming sector is unmatched in the industry and will be very valuable as we continue our global growth strategy,” Arviv said.
Last month, Paul Godfrey, founder and chairman of Postmedia Network Canada Corp., which publishes the Financial Post, joined the board as well. The move followed the September addition of Richard Carter, the former CEO of SB Tech, one of the companies involved in the three-way merger that brought the popular sports-betting app DraftKings Inc. public.
Earlier this year, Bragg graduated from the TSX Venture exchange to the main index.
Bragg shares closed up 10 per cent at $3.03 in Toronto Tuesday and have more than doubled in value so far this year.
