The girls will visit Alcoa and Talison mine sites, as well as engage in various educational activities on campus and in the community. Camp attendees are also attending networking events, engaging directly with mining industry representatives.
Staying in Curtin University student accommodation, the girls are also experiencing what university life is like.
Further camps are planned for later in the year for both genders, Curtin said.
