Most large cryptocurrencies rise on Dogecoin, Polkadot increases

Most of the largest cryptocurrencies were up during morning trading on Monday, with Dogecoin DOGEUSD, +0.34% seeing the biggest move, rallying 5.45% to 22 cents.

Six additional currencies posted increases Monday. Polkadot DOTUSD, -0.38% increased 2.38% to $35.93, and Ripple XRPUSD, +0.72% rallied 1.71% to 97 cents.

Ethereum ETHUSD, +0.58% rose 1.55% to $4,322.99, while Litecoin LTCUSD, -1.01% rallied 1.43% to $200.37. Bitcoin BTCUSD, -1.48% increased 1.22% to $57,080.16.

Bitcoin Cash BCHUSD, -0.01%, which posted the smallest increase, rose 1.22% to $569.38.

On the other hand, two cryptos posted decreases, with Cardano ADAUSD, -1.08% seeing the largest drop at 0.78% to $1.57. Uniswap UNIUSD, +0.89% slid 0.55% to $19.83.

In crypto-related company news, shares of Coinbase Global Inc. COIN, +5.34% climbed 4.17% to $315.82, while MicroStrategy Inc. MSTR, +4.90% rallied 3.54% to $686.45. Riot Blockchain Inc. RIOT, +7.02% shares climbed 0.33% to $35.04, and shares of Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. MARA, +4.45% rose 2.17% to $50.27.

Overstock.com Inc. OSTK, -2.30% dropped 1.38% to $90.91, while Square Inc. Cl A SQ, +0.37% rose 0.89% to $213.96 and Tesla Inc. TSLA, +5.09% rose 5.03% to $1,136.34.

PayPal Holdings Inc. PYPL, -0.29% shed 1.68% to $184.64, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. Cl A EBON, +0.66% shares rose 0.33% to $1.53. NVIDIA Corp. NVDA, +5.95% increased 3.09% to $324.78, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD, +4.59% increased 1.68% to $159.29.

In the fund space, blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF BLOK, +2.82% rose 1.83% to $55.59. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF BITQ, +3.18%, which is focused on pure-play crypto companies, rallied 1.68% to $29.07. Grayscale Bitcoin Trust GBTC, +6.43%, which tracks the Bitcoin market price, rose 4.20% to $46.19.
