Pandemic-related upheavals aside, 2021 was another tumultuous year on mining and metals markets. After record setting runs for iron ore, lithium, tin and copper prices and torrid trading in mining stocks earlier in the year, some of the bullish sentiment faded into the final stretch, but prospects for the industry remain rosy for 2022.
