Dow, S&P 500 kick off 2022 with record closes as stocks climb Monday
The Dow Jones Industrial Average swept to a record close on Monday as upbeat investors bought stocks in the first session of trade in 2022. The Dow [S: DJIA] advanced about 246 point points, or 0.7%, sweeping to a record finish near 36,585.
