Prime MInister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet have described the energy transition as an opportunity — a chance to build a new clean supply chain that can power the economy for decades.

Last week, unencumbered by the pandemic for the first time in years, the federal government released a budget that leans into this strategy and devotes billions of dollars to building a new critical minerals and electric vehicle supply chain.
