U.S. defense companies are experiencing staffing shortages when the war in Ukraine and tensions surrounding Taiwan are expected to stoke demand for military hardware.
Lockheed Martin Corp., Raytheon Technologies and others said labor challenges are exacerbating wider supply-chain problems they expect to linger into next year. The companies in recent weeks trimmed sales forecasts for the year as factories producing F-35 combat jets, missiles and other equipment have run slower.
