Procter & Gamble maker of Tide detergent and Pampers diapers, is predicting the slowest sales growth in years as consumer belt-tightening hits household staples.
The Cincinnati-based consumer-products giant on Friday announced its biggest annual sales increase in 16 years, as consumers largely absorbed mounting price increases on mainstays from toothpaste to toilet paper.
