Hybrid, Electric Car Sales Soar in Europe

Aug.31 — Hybrid and electric car registrations soared in Europe last month. They grabbed a record share of the autos market overall and have lifted sales to the highest in 10 months. Plug-in hybrid sales have more than quadrupled while battery electric vehicles more than doubled according to auto market researcher Jato Dynamics.
