Charles Schwabeliminated about 200 jobs across the country this week in an effort to get rid of roles it deemed redundant as it integrates TD Ameritrade, the rival firm it acquired last year. These aren’t the first integration-related cuts: Around the time of the deal’s closing in October, Schwab said it was laying off about 1,000 employees.
