Wayfair Inc. W, -1.81% stock sank 8.6% In Thursday premarket trading after the online home goods retailer reported fourth-quarter revenue that missed expectations. Wayfair reported net income of $23.8 million, or 23 cents per share, after a loss of $330.2 million, or $3.54 last year. Adjusted EPS of $1.24 beat the FactSet consensus for 86 cents. Revenue of $3.67 billion was up from $2.53 billion last year, but below the FactSet consensus of $3.76 billion. The number of active customers rose 53.7% to 31.2 million, though average order value fell slightly, down to $223 from $226. In Q4, 59.9% of orders placed were on a mobile device, up from 54.8% last year. Wayfair stock has soared 260.3% over the last year while the benchmark S&P 500 index SPX, +1.14% is up 25.5% for the period.
