Blink and you missed it.
On the surface, it looked like nothing much happened this past week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 174.29 points, or 0.5%, to 34,207.84, while the S&P 500 index declined 0.4% to 4155.86, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.3% to 13,470.99. Even the 10-year Treasury yield ended the week off just 0.01 percentage point, at 1.629%.
