Investors have poured $893 billion into global equities this year, more than the last 19 years combined

That well-used acronym, of course, stands for There is No Alternative, which has been somewhat of a rallying call for investors who have seen a 25% gain year to date in the S&P 500 index.
As for how much has gone into global equities — a record $893 billion worth of inflows, which exceeds a combined $785 billion of inflows of the past 19 years this year — Bank of America offers up this jarring chart:
